Frequently Asked Questions

How many hours is each class?

Each class includes 6 hours of live instruction. Weekend classes are split into two 3-hour sessions, while weekday classes are divided into four 1.5-hour sessions.

What topics are covered in class?

We will cover all the ACS topics including atomic and electronic structure, formula calculations, stoichiometry, solutions, enthalpy, bonding, molecular geometry, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and nuclear chemistry

Is there additional help outside of class time?

Yes! There will be an option for private one-on-one hours, as well as shared office hours. After registering for a class, students will receive a link to sign up for these additional hours. These sessions are completely optional and will be offered at various times to accommodate students’ schedules for those seeking extra help.

What are the class options?

Class A is a weekend class that meets from 1:00-4:00 PM EST on Saturday November 30th and Sunday December 1st.

Class B is a weekend class that meets from 5:00-8:00 PM EST on Saturday November 30th and Sunday December 1st.

Class C is a weekday class that meets from 4:00-5:30 PM EST each day from Monday December 2nd to Thursday December 5th

Class D is a weekday class that meets from 6:00-7:30 PM EST each day from Monday December 2nd to Thursday December 5th

Class E is a weekend class that meets from 1:00-4:00 PM EST on Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th.

Class F is a weekend class that meets from 5:00-8:00 PM EST on Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th.
